For units requiring the PAC-USWHS002 interface, please refer to the Kumo instruction manual for Wi-Fi setup guidance. Getting started
Download the app
- iOS (13.0+) / Android (5.1+)
- App Store or Google Play
Create an account
- Use a valid email address
- Verify via email link
Wi-Fi setup tips
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only (not 5 GHz/6 GHz)
- Must have active internet connection
- Keep strong signal at units (≥ -60 dBm)
- Use a mesh network for large homes. E.g. Google Nest Wi-Fi
- Ensure router allows enough connected devices
Control basics
Tap ‘Home’ to access:
- Zones = individual rooms
- Sites = properties (e.g. Home, Cottage)
Available modes:
- Heat 🔥
- Cool ❄️
- Auto 🔁 (dual setpoint)
- Fan Only 💨
- Dry 💧
Adjust:
- Fan speed & vane direction
- Adjust temperature, fan speed, vent direction and dry mode from anywhere
Scheduling and holds
Set events
- Tap ‘Program’ → ‘Set New Event’
- Select zone, time, temp, days
Holds
- Change temp → “Hold Until” appears
- Options: Temporary, Holiday, Permanent
- Tap ‘Run Schedule’ to cancel
Settings
App settings
- Units: °F or °C → Settings → System Setup
Notifications and errors
Enable push alerts in Settings → Notifications for:
- Dirty filters
- Low battery
- High/low temps
- Equipment errors
Tap ‘Help’ to view issues.
